Hanging above us like frozen pronghorn
Sprinkling our bodies with mountain-water
The reindeer sandworms are branching out
Spreading like silicon staghorn
Building a rope-bridge into our minds
The holy urchins gather their spines
Holding an underwater council
Sewing our hearts back together
The dragonfly-mailmen are coming
The unstoppable messengers persist
Bringing dangerous valentines
