It was nice being back in the dorms. At least, she amended, as nice as it could be-Rosalind still chafed at... being here when, especially now that her strength was approaching her old levels, all she really wanted was to go home. Back to work

"Hey, we're neighbors again," Alex said, stopping when he spotted her room open and a familiar face inside. "I don't know about you but I feel better now."

She twisted in her chair to better look at him.

"Because we're neighbours?" Rosalind replied, teasing very dryly. "I should be delighted, I suppose. I'm glad for the space."

And privacy. Which went along with 'space'.

"Don't you have a roommate or something?" he asked, leaning against the frame of her door. "Or did your droll wit drive her away because she couldn't possibly compete?"

"One roommate is better than seven," she said pointedly. "Do not tell me you disagree.”

Rosalind really didn’t think he would, really, from what she’d gleaned of his personality.

“For your information, Scully and I get along splendidly."
