Because Janey needs more fic. I've been working on this one for a while. Actually had about twelve different scenarios I was toying with, but these are the ones that worked out. Also includes sginficatn amounts of Dr. Manhattan, Jon Osterman, Laurie Juspeczyk, and (weirdly enough) Adrian Veidt. And Wally Weaver ( Read more... )

Yay Janey love! I think number 3 was my favorite, I love imagining the two of them roaming the universe together and generally being awesome. They were all great, though, and I really liked how you showed Janey as the smart, savvy woman she is. :)

Oh man, this was awesome! I love Janey, and her relationship with Jon, and getting to see all these little glimpses at the lives she could've led was great.

Jon is a little annoyed they went for the Rutherford model, but not so annoyed he isn't touched

*laughs* Aw, physics humor. I bet they did it just to screw with him. I loved that.

I think 2 is my favorite, though. Something about Janey and Wally being best buddies more than anything makes me happy, and that little tie-in to canon with Adrian's toast was great.

These are all so, so good, and...ouch:

The problem was that they had been equals, partners, and then suddenly he was a superhuman and a strategic asset and he could just see all the things they had spent so long trying to discover, and she was - an accessory.

I wish #4 had really happened. She and Adrian really ought to have been friends :(

I also like the never-before-considered idea of Jon/Janey/Wally OT3 now.

wow, I loved these <3 I really enjoy alternate universes, and exploring the what coulda happened, and each of these is fascinating and could merit a much longer story. Anyway, I really enjoyed reading them

This is just great. She's not a character it normally occurs to me to think about, but this shows just how much possibility there is there. I especially love #4 and #1.
