I hear you on the summer blues thing. I think that happens to everyone. Hang in there :D
I think I might be interested in those slip covers, but I think I wanna see how you do it until I decide if I wanna commission. It sounds neat, though, so I'll be on the look out. :3
And your bones are almost done, I haven't forgotten about you. The skull just gave me a heck of a time with the cleaning process. Should get them in the mail soon. 8D
Dude, no worries and no stress! Take all the time you need. I'm just honored that you are doing this for me at all! I already have plans to decorate the skull an an ornamnet. Or maybe just leave it as is? I'll tlak to it and find out. XD
Yah, the slip cover is going to be a re-usable 8.5" X 11" slip cover. I want to make sure that the first one can be sold SOMEWHERE... but I'm sure if it doesn't go on-line, someone at the communtiy center will pick it up in a moment's notice. XD
I might forgo the slip cover, and just make a bind that you can just slip in and out the pad of paper if someone wants a different size or something. XD
I think they look pretty as is, but you never know! Also, your decision, two teeth fell out of the bottom jaw and I was wondering if you just wanted them separate or glued back in. Either way~
Sounds sweet! Just make sure to snap a picture before someone grabs it up. :3
wow the yellow deer skin sounds beautiful. I cant wait for pics of your creations, I wonder how hard it is to import stuff like that to Oz? I know they sting you heaps to put things like that thru quarantine.
Well, I know that all of Down Under is not only strict, but just turns AWAY things like that. No foreign animal part of botany allowed AT ALL. I'm not sure of specification to regions, other places, and countries- but so far, I've shipped to Europe without trouble as well as far east and locally. The truth is, the laws are not so rigid becuase some animals parts that are non endangered- the ONLY kind I use if at all- are accepted especially in craft form. Some countries don't even care if the parts ARE endangered species since for them it's just a way to make money. Aussie is different becuase they are worried about contamination and more local ecological disaster, so they are SERIOUS about the whole process. XD
