Funny you should say, because I noticed today that it was "cold" but without the nippiness or the frostiness. It's a cold temperature, but here aren't even winds to make is chill you to the bone! XD I actually had a pleasant time walking. :)
You know, I will grant you that wish! I have to take a few pics tomorrow anyways, so I'll put in the sable foot as well! XD
I can probably explain some of the "Game book" problems your having. You run into a lot of similar things in a lot of groups in the west, I'll tell you when your on messanger next, so we can chat about it.
That's awesome about your friend. ^^ I tend to do the overly giving gifts thing to some of my friends too. (Reminds me! I should send you some of my snake skin! It's great for protection and has already been cleansed and blessed, well in Wiccan terms. ^^; )
I sorta wish we had snow... (No snow in Tacoma Yet!)
Dude, I have myself a GOOD feeling you KNOW what I'm talking about! I'll be on MSN hopefully sometimes within the next few days. Right now it's crunch time with the making-of-the-gifts-for-mom's=friends, so I don't have com time at all! But that changes VERY soon! XD

Regional differences are EVERYWHERE. I saw a lot of what I always thought of as "west vs. east" differences during the years I spent in Connecticut (I'm from, and currently live in, the LA area). The difference between the two areas I'd describe as: in CT, they won't let you in the door, but if they do, you can stay for months; but in LA, they'll let you in the door in seconds, but they won't let you use the bathroom. Ever.
You're not a silly white girl. You're FM and they're AM. Or short wave. Very, very short wave. Don't worry about it. It's just the universe's way of telling you where NOT to look for real estate. :-)

It's funny you used that saying- because my sister had something similar. In Toronto, you might not make friends very easily, but the moment you are, you are tight, and can go missing for months- come back and STILL be friends. Where as in Vancouver, everyone is generally friendly, but nothing concrete tends to happen. In all honesty, I AM looking for real estate! I tend to be out there for 5 years.. so better invest in my "own walls" if you know what I mean! XD

Sounds fiscally prudent.
If you're Supposed To Be There--if the Universe is trying to put you there for its own nefarious reasons--the right people will find you. You won't be able to stop them from finding you.

But I'm afraid I will demand a pic of that sable's paw. 8D
OMG a white Christmas for you! I kind of envy you, we don't have snow here. But I don't envy the freezing cold! :P
