YOU DID NOT FAIL ME!
You delivered the EXACT news I wanted to hear: Was Micheal alive or not? That was it. Noting more or less. Everything else had to be viewed to be judged. And judged I did. With VERY close scrutiny.
YOU HAVE SUCCEEDED.
ATTRIBUTE UNLOCKED.
MOVE ON TO SUPER HUMAN PHASE.

I'm glad I read your movie review. Now I don't have to waste my money seeing it in the theater. I'll just wait for it when it's rentable.
Do they ever mention in the movie what happened to Michael or does Selene ever find out what happened to him?

Yes they do!
I'm not sure to what extent you want to be "spoiled", but in a nutshell, Michael is still alive, and they set up the end of this movie to be WIDE OPEN for a sequel that features him [if Scott Speedman is willing to resume the role or not, it's still undetermined].
If you want more details, I can easily pass those along. :)

Oh, I definitely want to be "spoiled" rotten with plenty of details, if you don't mind. (^_^)
I had a feeling they were going to end the movie with another chance for a sequel. I think it's the "Underworld" movies that are making Beckinsale so hot and popular amongst many. As a female, even I think it's nice to see the gorgeous Beckinsale in that movie with THAT costume even though some of the "Underworld" movies suck-egg. BUT!If Scott Speedman does not return for the 5th movie, it's not worth my time.

In all honesty, asides from this 4rth one, all the movies were VERY well done. I can see some the reasons why others don't, but those remain as a "taste" perspective ( ... )
