The cake for kelsboston's party tomorrow is finished! I am so psyched with how nice it came out. Part of me is sad I wasn't able to incorporate some of the details from my original (much too large) design. But mostly I'm just completely thrilled with how well the final execution matched the picture in my head

thanks so much for the totally awesome cake. I didn't mean to be such an Ace of Cakes cliche with the whole, "is *that* the cake?" reaction, but seriously, it looked that great!
