I love where the show is going and I love that they pay attention to fanfiction. Give us what we want. Smart.

And I for one was glad to see Crowley caught in his bluff (Sam called that a few eps ago, he's so good at reading people/demons now) and that the bones came into play to get rid of him. Rest in Pieces, Fergus.

But what about those of us who want the brothers all back to being brother! Why aren't they pandering to US! WAAAAH!

Heh, I get what you're saying though. It is pretty coool they keep their fingers on the fandoms pulse. However, another part of me thinks it's pretty lazy on their part when they rip things straight outta fic. It invokes that school girl urge in my to cover my paper so the kid in the next seat can't copy my answers- heh.

Also glad Sam's reading of folks, even demons is coming in so handy. But what's so sad about that is when ever Sam has an ability that comes in handy- it gets labeled WRONG WRONG WRONG! He can read people... but no! That's bad! He's got no soul! Kinda like when he could exorcize demons with his mind- Boy howdy did that save the day! But oh noes! Sammy's using demon powers! Must lock him in Panic Room. Sighs. *Pets poor Sam*

We're going to get that too. I have full confidence in that. And you're right about him always being labeled wrong. He isn't. Well, drinking demon blood was, but if he can use all his powers without that like Ruby suggested, then he should use it. They certainly followed all the leads from his premonitions. I hope he gets to keep part of his new skill set when he gets his soul back.

I hope so too, though they make it seem like he's going to be a drooling mess with his Soul back. Surely there's got to be a way around that... but.... awww dang! *pets Sam some more*

I really have nothing to add to your thoughts . . . Pretty much yeah on most counts (including the calls for Show to stop reading fic.)

However, I do want to point you in . . . WHAT? Okay, the journal I was going to link you to is GONE! But there was excellent meta on how Dean's soul is priceless, the Hope Diamond of souls, and if anyone is playing Pit (with the bell, not Pit with the hellfire) Dean's soul is the platinum of the exchange, the one everyone who trades in souls wants for their collection.

And how obtaining Dean's soul is much easier when holding Sam's soul as leverage.

The meta writer put it much better than that, but that's my guess as to where mytharc is going from this point. Heck, maybe that's why Dean "dies" next week. He as someone make him clinically dead so he can go looking for Sam's soul, and instead Death tells him, "I need a vacation. Here. Go help your favorite Reaper for a while."

Or something.

I dunno. I'm making this up as I go.

Hey! Now there's a thought! Already wishing for Friday!! *hop hop hop!!*

P.S. Totally off topic, is it snowing up your way? Cause it's coming down down down here.

Nope, no snow yet. Hopefully tonight, and when we get up tomorrow there will be a skiff.

Oh! Something else I wanted to say about Meg. While her straddling Dean did recall her similar straddle of Sam in "Shadows," I'm not sure this is an instance when I would call role reversal. Meg has enjoyed toying with Dean ever since he exorcised her from Aycox!Meg. Whether it be outright torture (Sam!Meg), ordering possessed!Bobby to kill Dean, or siccing hellhounds on him, Meg just loves to mess with Dean (not like that . . . well, yeah. Probably like that, too).

Is it wrong that I find their verbal sparring kinda hot fascinating?

Yeah, it's not exactly role reversal that I'm thinking of, but I can't quite yet get my mind to wrap around the word I want. But what I'm meaning is mirroring, paraelleling, a reversal of the specific scenes in which Meg had the boys captive and at her mercy. She straddled Sam then and now does the opposite and straddles Dean. So a reveral of positions... which is not really role reversal... But again a good phrase to describe that is escaping me.

Brain freeze... from all the SNOW!!!

Is it wrong that I find their verbal sparring kinda hot fascinating?

Heck no Cous! And if it's wrong I don't wanna be right! Why do you think I love Meg as much as I do? She brings the SASSY!

I think there's still room in the story to explore the monster/Alpha angle. That easily ties in with hunter stuff, even if it's monster of the week flavored. The fact that monsters are acting out of character isn't due to Crowley.

My brain is all over the place with the soulless Sam storyline. Parts of it I truly love, but I want those boyz emotionally together, you know. The heartbreak is killing me!

Yeah, I guess even though they no longer have a reason to be seeking out and capturing Alphas... Alphas might still be important or troublesome. I hope that Alpha Vamp comes back, he was all kinds of cool!

And I did think the reason the monsters were acting out was because Crowley had stirred the hornet's nest so to speak... but now that you mention it... I'm not sure WHY I had that idea. I guess because Crowley seemed to be the key to everything else (Getting the two Sams back to life and holding Sammy's soul) But maybe it's something else...

Hmm... much to ponder still.

And while that part is interesting... the broken boyz... making me quite sad as well! *sniff*

I’m pretty sure the whole Season’s Myth Arc just collapsed in on itself.

Hee! Yes.. that was my thought at by the end..

A kinda.. well, there goes the alpha story line. And the Campbell one...

Aaah... maybe I've just twigged why this episode didn't work for me...

I yep - I think Show maybe indulging it a bit too much fan fiction... (GO US!!)

Kimmer, just above pointed out to me that maybe the Alpha story arc isn't completely done yet... though I do think the Campbell angle is shot. Unless Gramps is deluded enough to think there's still someway to get his daughter back if he just keeps going out ofhis way to make her sons miserable.

GO US! Indeed... though really... we shouldn't be making it SOOO easy for them! Heh heh.
