Chica? Royal wedding? Have you been reading about Prince William and Kate Middleton getting engaged? Are you mentally in sync with the royal family? O.o

In reference to your previous entry, yes, we are the epitome of Gen-X. Geo is the tail end of the Baby Boom, or the very beginning of Gen-X, depending on who's doing the defining.

Also, sounds like your workshop was quite a pick-me-up. Yay!

Good times with good friends. Two thumbs up.

No, I never pay attention to the Royals or their comings and goings... that's why the dream was rather odd.

I'm cool with being a Gen-Xer... though I do remember when the term started being bandied around back in the day I thought it was odd and wasn't sure what it all meant. It felt at the time that SURELY we were the most awesome Generation EVAH!... But the teens at the workshop (Millieniumists? I think they called themselves) have assured me that no, they are the most awesome... heh...

Well, actually, the Greatest Generation was the one that fought in WWII. :-)

After that was the Baby Boomers (who never thought they'd get old, but have), Gen-Xers (who took the world by storm with computer companies and internet start-ups), Gen-Y (who . . . I dunno . . . are a skewed variation on Gen-X?), and Millennials (who are still just children and have so very much to learn).

But as far as the Gen-X culture, yes, we had it awesome. Music, movies, the end of the Cold War, the crumbling of the Berlin Wall . . . Team USA winning hockey gold in Lake Placid . . . Yes, we had it good. *nods*

Millennials

That's what it was! Young yes, and much to learn. But much to teach us too ;-)!
