I'd love to hear more about UU. I'd done a little research into it a few years ago when I got frustrated with my church, but never made the venture to visit.
Thanks again. This is probably the best sum up of UU principles. (It's that "inherent worth and dignity of every person" that had me sold)
I've been really blessed in that everytime I've visited a UU congregation, I've instantly clicked with the people involved and felt immediately like I belonged there. I couldn't guarantee that would be the experience for everyone or in every congregation. But if you have any churches or groups in your area, it would be worth checking out. I bet most places have websites now so you can get a feel for what kinds of things that church/group does for their services and in the community.
But yeah, I had an awesome time at the workshop, which now I've posted about and met some really great peeps! YAY!
