You do? I lived there for a few years! I lived north of Tampa on the Gulf.
I don't know what I think of Florida, sometimes. I think it's got some of the most gorgeous and most hideous things going for it. Like those call girl billboards on the highway? Hideous. But the beautiful pale lavender sunsets in Clearwater? Incredibly beautiful.
I do like the archaeology there. Very good stuff. Pretty mounds and middens. And hiking is nice. I tried to capture some of the hiking things...
Yes! Hiking is nice, in the winter! Things are blooming around here, as if it were spring, while at the same time some leaves are turning red and falling off bushes. It's so strange. I've seen baby ducks, too.
Only in Winter do I really enjoy Florida =(.
I live in St. Petersburg :]. I agree that some of the sunsets on the west coast of Pinellas County can be quite beautiful, but I rarely go to the beach! =(
I think the colour bar really captured the essence though, good job!!
I lived in Port Richey. Not my favorite place. But I worked in Tarpon Springs so that was nice. But I much prefer the Gulf to the Atlantic. Florida is okay. My parents met and fell in love there back during the Viet Nam war so they loved it. I didn't go. But I did go down around 2000 and left in 2002. I'm originally from Michigan so I'm biased to the Northern Climate, I think.
