Had a routine baby visit with Dr. Owens yesterday. All was basically fine, except for the unmitigated disaster of the glucose test, which I will tell you more about in a minute

Hope you don't have GD. My boss had her 36 week scan thursday and the baby is 7lb6oz already! They're testing her for diabeties again next week because she didn't have it before but now has all the symptoms and a huge baby. She's also carrying a lot of fluid apparently so she's enormous with 4 weeks still to go. She's finishing work on wednesday next, mainly because she's struggling to get behind the wheel of the car :-)
Me too! Keeping my fingers crossed. Hopefully the fasting test on Monday will be enough to tell us for sure.
I am trying not to worry about the big baby thing but it's in the back of my head. They say he's a good size now and nothing to worry about but I feel like he's getting bigger every day. (Which..he is, but hopefully not too much!)
When I was born I was over 9 lbs, which apparently was totally fine 35 years ago but today if your baby is over 7 they start freaking out. Crazy.
LOL at the fitting behind the steering wheel! I'm not having that problem yet, but I have noticed I'm starting to have trouble with things like doing the dishes as my bump bumps into the counter and I can't reach things. Good thing Mr. F doesn't mind dishes!
