So, hooray! We're back! And kicking things off with an episode I enjoyed very much.

This is the one where Our Boys (including Major Who) are trapped under a fallen building and where Rodney delivers Teyla's baby but then she goes and gives it two wrong names. Plus, members of the GirlStar team from the upcoming episode "Whispers" get introduced and ( Read more... )

My personal canon from now on (as decided in comments somewhere after the leak) is that Tagan was her mother's name. This means that the Athosians are matriarchial and that Teyla inherited the position as leader from her mother.

Also I thought the baby's name should have been Rodney too. (Or Torrin, Rodney, John Ronon, that's not too many names is it?)

The Athosians being matriarchial would make a lot of sense. That might be a good bet as to how TBTB will retcon it.

Yeah, I felt like Rodney deserved some kind of a shout-out.

Rodney totally deserved SOMETHING. And the reason Teyla gave for naming the baby John was kind of a wtf moment for me, because doing it because John is her friend, because he's the military leader of because they had a "special moment" during the pregnancy, I can buy that, but saying that he saved them from the Wraith, eh not really.

Yeah, it was sort of a WTF choice as far as I'm concerned. Ah well, they can't do everything right, I guess.

They must be in John's quarters because not even Teyla has that many candles.
All this scene does is convince me that John is totally gay. All those candles? The pretty? And he makes Teyla all pretty. Eye for detail! Totally, totally gay. Hey - they weren't trying to get me to buy into John/Teyla, were they?

CARTER'S HAIR: *seconds the motion by ruffling gently in the breeze during the hero shot*
Ha! I was yelling 'hero shot, that's the Carter hero shot' at the telly. It was so...cheesy...but also so funny

My love for the John-Ronon and Lorne-McKay conversations while buried in rubble know no bounds.

So, with Michael's help, Teyla's kid will make the galaxy less pathetic? That seems kind of a…broad…plan.
But still better than 99.9% of plans the SHA writers come up with *g*

With an excellent poker face, John lies, "Yes."At Meet the Hewletts 300 fans laughed at just how untrue that was. Aw, Shep, we love you ( ... )

No, I think by now, they know better. That's why they made him be so uncomfortable!

Glad you enjoyed!

Awesome :D Though I was disappointed that Rodney didn't get whumped! And PFFT at Teyla! Doesn't she recognise the real hero of the hour??? :P

Yes, Rodney did escape with just a few scrapes and bruises, lucky for him, sad for us.

And Teyla, well, I suppose it's not really her fault, we have to blame Gero.
