Silver eyes are actually more difficult to do than colors if you're starting with dark eyes, so don't worry if it just isn't happening at first. I worked these in colors and then removed saturation and duplicated. I wouldn't advise trying to do your tracking in high shine white. Do your frame-by-frame positioning and get your masks correct, then adjust them to be silver.

If you're keeping the natural light, always use blending modes (for silver, you'll probably need to duplicate your layers twice).

If you're starting with dark eyes, don't forget to mask the pupil and keep it black, otherwise you'll have eyes that look blind.

If you want more shimmer, add a layer with a video of fire or water or something (again, keep some transparency - overlay and softlight work well for most things). Slow the speed and enlarge if your eyes are too crazy. Also, be sure to do this twice and move the layer so the same area is over both eyes (otherwise you'll have one eye going dark while the other goes light).
