I would take them to London on the train. Nothing happens in my town!

Ah...but London trains are so neat! They run frequently and go everywhere. In the states, most people drive instead of taking trains. Our country is a big sprawling land. So trains run the most in the northeast.

PS I love my icon...

Yes I have, but for a short time in LA.

Funny, Maryland is not a good place to live if you have allergies. It's a Piedmont(foothill to mountains) but parts of it are on swampland (like Virginia, another unfriendly allergy state) Western Maryland is better, because it's part of the Appalachian mountains. It's summers are hot, humid and stormy and mild winters (usually) California, despite the quakes and fires has the ideal weather. Very few places in the world have that same perfect weather. South Australia does. They also have the fires you do. I think there a parts of South Africa with that same temperate climate, so rare elsewhere. So if I had to live anywhere it would be California. The state is overcrowded (the weather is one reason) and almost bankrupt. But it still is a wonderful place to live.

Oh, come on, Rachel...

The aquarium is really nice but there is so much to that area for people to see. The whole waterfront is pretty nice in my mind. What about the old WW II submarine (if it's still there).

There is actually a very thought provoking holocaust work in not to far from the waterfront as well. It's the side of a train boxcar that you can stand behind and look through the slats at the barren pavement with shrubs around. It was moving.

Oh... and don't forget the dozens of eateries that have crabcakes. (*yum) Not all places have them as good and the Maryland area. We mostly have clam strips and lobster rolls up in Mass.

I'm sorry I haven't had much time to post these last few months. How have things been going down your way. Does it feel like April weather there too?

Here's to sunshine and warmth.

LOL...Sean. Now I didn't know you had been to Baltimore! That m,eans you've been everywhere.

Awk..I really am not wild over the city, but you make it seem have way decent

As for the crabcakes. They're already right, I guess. Keeping Koshar I wouldn't be eating them.

It's typical Baltimore (heck Marland) weather. Hot, humid, hot, humid, hot, humid. And sometimes it storms!

Hey Rachel!

Wow, no Rabbis working at fish canneries to watch over the crab-works? Wait (*slaps forehead) they don’t slaughter crabs, do they? (o_O)

I’ve been to Baltimore several times to visit my wife’s brother and his family in Columbia. Hitting the city is only natural. Coincidentally, we’ll be down in that area for a Lacrosse tournament the weekend of July 4th. The Crab Fest! Who knows... maybe the Terps Lacrosse coach will be looking for upcoming talent.

I’m glad it’s warmer because it is just blah up here. Heck, it’s warmer in the Dakotas and Minnesota, for goodness sakes.

Can you put in a word to tone down the humidity that weekend? Where are the best fireworks at? =)

Nope, not plains. No bad lands. Unless you count the commute between Baltimore and Washington. Second only to LA in traffic jams.
