Aw...Chinese junks, don't you just love them?  I do.  They make the best junk I've ever seen.  I have a model of one at home.

Did you ever see George Carlin do his "Stuff and Junk" routine? At least I think it was him. Your stuff is "stuff" but other people's stuff is "junk." It was funny but yet so true.

The nuances of words still amazes me.

You know, I've never seen Carlin. I think I missed out on a good thing. From what other people say about his humor, I could kick myself.

The thing that so amazing about the English language is the vocabulary. No other language in the world has anything close. The reason why is that English steals from other languages. So there are so many meanings you can make with just one word.

Yeah...one reason (poor guys) is that Australia is so darn close to China. You have to admit the Chinese "Junk" is a pretty fishing boat
