today i drove back from being in north carolina all weekend. it was strange to be in a different place with people i've known for years, and even stranger still to leave them and drive back to georgia. but after a weekend in a place where no building is taller than 3 or 4 stories, i actually got excited to see the skyline appear while driving back ( Read more... )

omg two things !

1 - i was in chapel hill and thought of you when we went to record stores.

2 - i watched degrassi the other week and it was the episode where craig's record comes out and ashley tries to like.. get back into music. her hair is RIDICULOUS. there is so much of it and its like a big monster swallowing up her head !!

re 1: oh MAN isn't chapel hill just the cutest little town in the universe? did you go to cd alley? that's my favorite, it's on franklin st. (like everything else in that town) and it's tiny and cramped but it has one of the better selections of used cds that i've ever seen - like there aren't that MANY, but like all of them are GOOD. plus the name just rules.

re 2: ugh her hair sure was terrible in that one, but then again, that girl has gone through so many different hairstyles/personal identity crises that who knows what the hell is going on. and also! the new season was supposed to premiere last week but it got postponed for some reason and it looks like it'll be back in feb. the previews look insane, as usual. eff this writer's strike! i want grey's back!
