it's not the present tense, so much as the fact that everything i write nowadays seems to come out that way. i don't like being stuck in a style, it smothers me. =/
thanks! i'm glad someone thinks so =) it's what spurred me to write it in the first place-- i was itching to see them just go at each other, loudly. i still don't think it came out quite right, so i'm scrapping it, but maybe the general idea will resurface one of these days.

Ok, so that didn't suck at all. It took a while to get into it but after that, TRES AWESOME. I love Chase/Cam :D I like angry!Cameron, for some reason, she always seems in character, despite the fact that she is hardly ever angry on the show. Poor Chase. But I think I've decided he needs to get over it. But still. He's sort of entitled to feeling suspcious, I reckon. Even though Cameron doesn't sleep with everyone better than Hitler. XD
that is absolutely the chase/cam shipper in you speaking, but i'll let it slide ;) i'm glad you liked it. i stick by my decision not to finish it (at the moment i'm just kind of sick of staring at it), but hey, it'll stay around, floating in my hard drive somewhere, so you never know...
chase is entitled, sure, but these things can't keep popping up forever or people will start thinking he's just irrational. it's one thing to have doubts, and one to still have doubts even though you have proof. which is kinda the point i was trying to make with this fic (and that i didn't totally make, hence the frustration). so yeah, i agree, he needs to get over it already.
