Reflector has always been a little odd. The first time he realized this, was when he was a sparkling, growing up on New Kaon. He had just thought... everyone was like him, and they were just better than he was at it. After that, he had thought he was triplets, but was soon disabused of that notion when /actual// triplets came to talk to him about being triplets.
They werent' the same as him at all.
He is just... him. And he can be in three places at once. Really, more than that since he has joined the Decepticon army. They keep him well fueled,a nd he can be in as many places as he's needed as long as there is energon.
He just normally stays at three. It is just more comfortable like that. To be able to parse his normal amount of information, rather than be overwhelmed when he goes from three thousand bodies, down back to three. The sudden drop in processing power always makes him feel a bit sick. And stupid.
He likes it more when he has more frames to think. He can /technically// go down to a single frame, but he feels so lost, alone, and incomplete. He can't do it. He just... won't.
So he stays how he is, and just knows he is different.
