Er, what happened? I remember the 1st season was slow and the 2nd was ridiculously rushed, was it supposed to go on longer?

Yeah, it was supposed to be six seasons and they cancelled it after the second, so it was really just getting going!

By the way, if you haven't checked out the wikipedia page on the Mythology of Carnivale, I suggest you do: it's pretty hardcore.

Oooooooh. I looked up a little bit about the whole Avatar/Omega/etc stuff, but this looks to have much more info.
