I would definitely read this if it had a happy ending, but because I wasn't sure it would from the summary, etc. I looked and found the ending wasn't happy. So, I can't bring myself to read it.

If you write a sequel that happens to end well, I'll read them both. I do enjoy your writing so it's definitely not personal. I just avoid sad endings if I can.

I understand, I'm usually a sucker for happy endings myself, but with this one I wanted to end badly so that I could make it all better in a sequel... so I will give it a happy ending, eventually, but it takes time so in the meantime... you could read this one ;)
