Well, I haven't blogged in a long time, but I suppose the best way for me to recap is through all the amazing sporting events that I have witnessesd/attended in the last 6 months or so.

Ah, well, perhaps that article link had me all riled and I'm being unkind. Or just in my evil little mind it seems to me like a perfect time to try and do that? But seeing as he was at the non-Royal Box end, the scoreboard thing sounds plausible. There's just confused silence on the BBC one, with the umpire also looking confused. Do you have the DVD?

The old complaining about the conditions makes me laugh. In the Davis Cup on Sunday, my old friend Moaner Murray started whining that the grass at Wimbledon was greasy. But of course, the conditions are the same for his opponent. A few games later, Jurgen Melzer took a huge slip at the same end, he could have been badly hurt and yet he got up, dusted himself down and played the next point without a word of complaint.
