I actually wanted to talk about quilting. But I needed first, it turns out to write that other whole post for context purposes.

Even though I have more than three quilt projects well underway, I really felt like starting a new project once I finished my Stitch Witches one. I think because all my projects on the go are tessellations and I missed exploring new patterns as I had been doing to finish off this one, and then had had to stop once I had the blocks finished, leaving ( Read more... )

A few years ago I realised that I am a process and not a product crafter. I enjoy the process but am not motivated by the finished object. I've knitted and crocheted all my life and yet own very few of the items I've made, most were gifted away at the time. (not the most imaginative of names. I had in mind for it, and these were sort of the instructions, to be a French seaside vaudeville/art deco style. Not sure what the quilt will be named though).
