New Years Resolutions

I have many blog posts to make and I’m sure they will tumble out over the next week or so. I’ve only got a couple of days left in Paris and my thoughts have been turning to the serious business of 2013. There is much to do. There is much I would like to do. Wow... That looks like a busy 2013 for you!
My goals haven't really gotten beyond - 1. pay down debt, and 2. paint more.

I will always mull over the negative - the one bad review against 23 good ones and an award win, the two people who don’t like me, the three people who can’t make an event etc etc

Oh, I know that one too well! Happens with my fanfic. Happened with my academic journal article - had 2 reviewer reports recommending publication with minor changes, then a third one came in late recommending against publication (or only with major changes). Even though a lot of the criticisms from that third review didn't even make sense according to my Masters' supervisor, I still took that one to heart and thought it wasn't worth publishing.
