DC Day 4

Well yesterday I decided I would go on down to the Washington Mall and see things I'd always been sorry not to have seen the last time I was in DC. I started with the Vietnam Memorial so I took the Metro up to Fogggy Bottom (heee) and then wandered down to the memorial via George Washington University. I got my first glimpse of the Washington

Totally was visiting stuff more for the show than personal interest :) But it's a lovely town.

I am loving your updates about your trip. The photos in this post call up so many memories of The West Wing; the Korean memorial specifically recalls this episode from season one.

My parents took us to DC at this time of the year in 1993, and we saw the Wall and the Lincoln Memorial as well, so your pictures bring back lovely memories as well as West Wing interest :)
