Starting to feel like "sorted" is within reach

So this morning, my taxes got lodged. Well they went to the accountant, which is close to getting lodged. That doesn't mean my pain is over but it does mean the end of the pain is within reach. This is usually where I falter and don't finish the job. But not this time. This time, I'm serious and I even spent this evening still going on the TPP

You'll get there! I tidied my desk a few months ago and it's currently somewhat tidy.

I tend to crochet a lot at night, especially during winter. I'm actually waiting on yarn to arrive so I begin a rug which will be a gift for someone. I tend to read in bed during the week and on the weekend out in the sun, if there is sun.

The desk is getting there - it's pretty clear and good for working but round the edges its got ... *things* and *things* are so easy to not see!

My problem is that I am in bed most of the time when home, especially in winter cause its snuggly and warm and so its hard to separate out crafting time from reading time. Also when you watch DVDs and not TV you lose the time demarcations that free to air TV give you. That's my excuse for finding myself sewing at 1,30am some nights!

Ahh I so sympathise. I hate taxes. I hate BAS time. (I no longer do the BAS) and I so need to start a baby quilt project and have it finished in two weeks. Make note to self to start tonight.

Hahah. Two weeks?!?! You'd best do simple squares or something!

I need to get myself an accountant of my own and MYOB this year.

Do you mean you haven't been using MYOB or other program? Even with MYOB I found it hard.

I was thinking applique cars and some simple squares. Should sus out my stash.
