And the tidy up begins

Perth is in recovery mode. I was in late to work this morning cause the Foxtel man came over to upgrade me. He called at 7am and was working on the job at 7.30. Not bad. You'll get there! And isn't the toilet the responsiblity of the landlord, especially if it's an ongoing problem. I'd be asking about upgrading the bowl and having it redone completely, that way you might be able to fix it once and for all.

We didn't get hail up here. My sister has lots of dents in her car and my aunt has lost part of her garage roof. Sounds like one awful storm. The worst seems to have blew itself out before it reached this far. Standing in the rain was lovely though!

heh - you know what's (not) funny? the whole toilet got replaced in the last round - bowl and cistern. I'm starting to come round to the idea that its cursed.

Yeah I was travelling north so I think I was travelling into the eye of the storm. I think it petered out as it hit the CBD and travelled south (and east?)

How weird that we had a cyclone alert that came to nothing much, and you got a huge storm out of the blue.

Also, it is my sincere belief that when you have sorted your internal plumbing situation (om* so much empathy for teh chocolate ban...) the toilet will work just fine. :-)

Very weird.

Interesting theory on the plumbing issues. Wonder how long would be required for it to be "sorted"

Heh, try to find a glazier or a skylight repairer just now. I finally got through to the insurance company after an hour on hold, and they said to go ahead and get our own repairer and send them the bill. Easier said than done!
