<3 the taxi sharing! Seems so sensible to me - all cities where the airport is out of the city especially should do it!

Taxi drivers and queue wranglers organising shared taxis isn't unique to Canberra. It happens at Perth airport, too, when they know they are short.

Hmmm I guess I'll call myself lucky to not have experienced that at Perth Airport then! I would be very grumpy if I got off the plane and had to wait an hour. (It *has* happened to my sister)
