So if I knew what was good for me, I would not tell you about this exciting new venue: the Artbar. Cause all 4 shows for Season 1 were sold out and that means next season will be even harder to get tickets to. But here goes

Sounds absolutely fabulous. I discovered Katie Noonan when she sang an Australian Chamber Orchestra concert, and I looked her up when I got home.

She's just so flexible in sound and style.

Also the venue really added to the enjoyment - I'm too old for dingy bars with sticky floors, sigh.

Straddie (as we locals call it) is beautiful. When my husband was working for the Redland City Council he used to have to go over there on a regular basis "to inspect the water treatment plant". He used to call me from the back deck of the Straddie Hotel and tell me the whales were passing by. I used to threaten to hang up on him!!!!

Next time you come to Brisbane, we'll take you over.
