Ooh, I like that shawl too...it is almost a ...poncho!

Yes, sort of a poncho but you can also fold it in that spiffy way? Looks kinda dressy and I actually have the perfect yarn for it. Mars Earthquake or something. Which i was wanting to make a shawl for myself in but hadn't really found a pattern i loved. I think this is it!

That shawl looks fantastic, but my level of knitting skill is such that any pattern requiring the placement of markers is too tricky. It's hard to concentrate on that sort of knitting with kids in the house...can't imagine why???? Let's hope Benji is better behaved!

Yeah lace knitting is hard because you have to pay attention - it's not relaxation knitting and i can only do one or two rows at night before bed because too sleepy and its too hard to unpick mistakes. Long term project.
