So I've been working on answering this question, which is of course the opposite of simple and straightforward. And of course, I'm lots of people. Or rather, I have lots of facets, colours and shades. What I do know for sure, is that I am not beige ( Read more... )

You need to practice giving yourself permission for stuff. You have permission to be sexy/interesting/captivating/exciting/etc

Sometimes babalon and I give each other permission for things we think the other needs LOL

I think you are right - it is about giving myself permission for stuff and I do need to practice that. I think this was the first exercise in doing that. I guess there will be more ...

--- that would probably sound a lot cooler if I wasn't dead certain that they used to use it in the lead-in to every episode of the old 'Monkey' TV series.

On the other hand, the Chinese epic of 'Monkey' is a fantastically brilliant story to read, and is one of the great allegories of literature. So what if the TV series was silly as five drunk bastards in a tubfull of custard, with really poor special effects?
