ahahahahah i SO need that comm sometimes! i had to start being more careful about what i put into my mouth after i gave myself food poisoning three times or so in a single month, the crowning glory being, naturally, a mcdonalds sausage and egg mcmuffin that had sat in my purse for three days. it's mcdonalds, i reasoned, it's hardly even meat! (for future reference: bad idea.)

however, in the 'you've come a long way' catagory -- i'm still totally fascinated by baking, and yesterday produced a top notch foccacia loaf with rosemary and sea salt better than any i've had in the store. *grins* we had it with homemade french onion soup and an arugula salad made with figs poached in wine, almonds, and other goodies. yay food!

I thought of you yesterday...while visiting friends, we bought a rosemary/olive oil loaf in a farmer's market-type setting. It was delish, but I bet yours was better!

Mmmm to the figs...those sound divine!

Fast food isn't always safe the first day, much less after three. Hee!
