My heart is breaking for Milo. :( I like the insight.... We can see why Milo is so much more damaged than Gen and Jared.

Milo is sort of the vehicle I'm using for the truly twisted stuff I was considering in Hollowed but was afraid to do without being able to gauge reader response. Poor guy. -_-;;

I knew this would be a dark time stamp before I read, and I gotta hand it to you, it was intense. But it also highlights Milo as a strong character, and a survivor. When we first met him after his time in the camp, it' s obvious he is screwed up and that the surgery messed him up deeply. But I still felt defensive toward him for the way he acts out and the extra trouble and stress he has brought to Jensen's pack. But actually reading his experience gives me a new perspective of him, and I respect him more for what he has endured, and genuinely care for him and his recovery more than before. Hope that makes sense, lol. Good piece.
