I loved this chapter! The fact that Cas keeps asking questions after specifically being told that Dean isn't going to answer them, made me laugh. Of course Cas isn't going to give up on trying to get answers! And he actually guessed Dean's name, good for Cas! Though poor Dean...He seems so exasperated, this whole thing really isn't going according to plan.

I felt really bad for Cas towards the end. Having to live in that kind of situation with no real hope of escape, really heartbreaking.

“Do you…uh…want to talk about that or whatever?” The idea of a heart-to-heart with Cas, the kidnapping victim that he had just met, made him feel itchy and uncomfortable, but the kid was clearly having some sort of breakdown. I particularly liked that line. It pretty much sums up why I love this story. Poor Dean is really in over his head, he just kidnapped someone, but he cares enough to want to help. This is the perfect sort of kidnapping story. Kidnapping and angst, but Dean is still a good guy who really doesn't mean anyone any harm ( ... )

Yup, Dean's plan was pretty much clusterfucked the second Cas stepped out of the building. Haha. There was a lot I wanted to incorporate but because it was only slotted for five parts (the max to not be intermittent slotted) I had to sacrifice a few smaller details. I'm actually considering revamping and expanding it because the interest on the cross-posts has been like, WHOA. Seriously, this has been like the most popular prompt/fill set I've handled so far.

And yasssss. I really didn't want Dean to be super-threatening creeper kidnapper. I'm glad he didn't come across that way. :)

I'm not surprised this one is doing well, it's a really good story. There isn't a lot of hurt/comfort kidnapping stories out there (go figure) and this one is so well done. Not to sound selfish, but I really do hope you decide to expand this story. I love it so much, I would read anything you wrote in this verse, and I can definitely say it would be fun to see more of this story! There can never be too much of a good thing! :)

Well, you definitely deserve some of the credit--I never would have thought to write this without you, after all. :)

If you have any specifics you'd like explored in the expanded version, feel free to let me know! Sort of expand the prompt to the expanded story, if you want.
