God I absolutely loved every bit of this. It was so awesome that you picked to write this prompt... I'd been considering forwarding it to you anyway after waiting awhile more to see if anybody would pick it off kink_meme, and then YOU write it anyway. *does a happy little dance*

The confrontation between Dean & Sam was so perfectly worded- EXACTLY what I'd wanted. And Dean's grief... Sam's shame. All of it was so perfect. AND you managed to include Bobby and John!

I feel bad for Sam like you other commentators and wish he'd had a chance to make it up to Dean (not really into Destiel) but the reason I'd put this up as a prompt instead of writing it myself was because I couldn't see how they'd come back from this. So your treatment of this was just 'right'.

This was a really good read. I actually think the ending is my favorite part, because I hate it when Dean goes running back to Sam or John after they hurt him, and this was literally the exact opposite. Great choice, in my opinion.

Right? I mean, in some stories I can get on board with it, because everyone messes up and a story without conflict is often boring, but there's a point where it's just too much, ya know?
