It looks they are setting up a meeting between the unhinged Gil and Agatha, with Xerxsephnia along for the ride. Agatha does not know Xerxsephnia, but her gender and calm nature would create a different dynamic than it would be if it had been Martellus instead. I expect Agatha would be less tolerant of any Gil's behavioral excesses, if Xerxsephnia is the victim of them, instead of Martellus, who we have already seen can take a beating.
I think it's Krosp talking to Seffie and IMHO, Seffie is the only one likely to have something up her sleeves at this point.
Agatha was nearly caught by 3 clanks, it would be bizare if she actually had anything to deal with a dozen of them (or more) at this point. Krosp has never been the fighting character.
Seffie on the other hand has been introduced, but she has yet to have her moment of awesome and there is no telling what kind of toys she has at her disposal.
Still, I think a reunion with Gil is long overdue and even if they overcome the clanks, I would be surprised if they didn't end up facing Gil and half the Wulfenbach army.

And the only possible direction left seems to be up.

Ventral? Something in the legs? Or... there's the Errol solution; someone was complaining that the tail wasn't right.
"Lady, I don't think we have a choice." is the kind of challenge that Agatha should know better about by now.
