It was already ten in the evening when Yoochun and his brother arrived back in Seoul after visiting their grandparents in Virginia for 3 long weeks. Yoochun couldn’t contain his excitement at the thought of seeing Junsu right away and he had to urge his mother to drive home quickly. Once they got home, Yoochun ran upstairs to his room with his suitcase in tow and quickly opened it to retrieve the presents he had gotten for Junsu. He changed his red shirt to a pair of clean white shirt after splashing cold water on his face and then sprayed little of his vanilla perfume on his chest.
“Time to see my idiot,” Yoochun grinned to himself at the mirror and tousled his bangs to hide his wide forehead.
He picked up the presents from his bed and headed down the stairs. He saw his mom and his brother in the living room, probably Yoohwan telling their mom about their vacation.
“Mom, I’m leaving,” Yoochun grabbed his car keys from the counter and headed out the door.
“Have fun sweetie but don’t do something I won’t do,” his mom said, teasingly.
“Mom!” Yoochun exclaimed in embarrassment and quickly closed the door behind him. He could hear his mom’s laughter inside; he shook his head at his mom’s childishness.
Yoochun got into his car and pulled his phone out from his jean pocket. He dialed a certain number and waited for the person to pick up.
“Is everything ready?” he asked when it was answered.
After confirming that everything was set, he pulled the car into drive and made his way to Junsu’s place.
Junsu was sitting on the couch with Shaki’s head on his lap. He absent-mindedly played with Shaki’s ears while he watched a romantic movie.
“I miss Yoochun…” he mumbled to himself as he eyed the scene of a couple standing by the beach, sharing kisses and smiles at each other.
‘Yoochun’s lips…I miss those…’ Junsu sighed and Shaki looked up at its owner with confusion. Junsu just patted his head and continued to watch and think of Yoochun until he heard a doorbell.
He didn’t bother to move because he was lazy. He thought his brother or mom would come out but after awhile, he heard his mom calling from upstairs, telling him to answer it instead.
Junsu got up from the couch and made his way to the door. He pressed the button of the intercom and saw the person standing outside on the screen. His eyes widened and wasted no time. He immediately opened the door and ran down to the gate of the house. He opened the gate and immediately flew into the arms of Yoochun.
“I missed you. I missed you like hell,” Junsu said softly while still locked in embrace.
“I missed you too idiot,” Yoochun held him close for a while before pulling him away so he could see his boyfriend’s face.
“I thought you were supposed to arrive in 4 days?” Junsu asked.
“I lied so I could surprise you,” Yoochun grinned as he held Junsu’s hand. His eyes trailed down and noticed Junsu was barefooted.
“You’re barefooted Su…” Junsu looked down on his feet and looked up at Yoochun with a sheepish grin, “oops? But I saw you and…well…” Junsu blushed.
Yoochun chuckled and pulled Junsu close to give him a quick peck on the lips.
“Go put your shoes on, we’re going somewhere,” Yoochun said.
Junsu raised his brows, “at this time? Aren’t you tired at all from the trip?”
Yoochun shook his head, “not at all. I was pretty much hyped all the way here from Virginia.”
Junsu smiled, “I’ll be right back then,” he said and run back into the house. After a couple of minutes, he emerged with a pair of sneakers on.
“Where are we going?” Junsu asked while they got into Yoochun’s car.
“You will see,” Yoochun replied and put the car into motion, “your presents are at the backseat,” he added. Junsu turned his head around and gasped at the sight.
“You’re actually serious! You got me plushies!” Junsu stretched his arms and grasp both of the plushies from the backseat and brought it in front.
“It’s so cute!” Junsu just squealed and Yoochun watched him hug them from the corner of his eyes.
“Of course they’re not as cute as you,” he smiled, glad that Junsu liked his presents.
“Thank you Chunnie! Ahh…they’re soft,” Junsu sighed as he hugged them against his chest.
“You’re welcome,” Yoochun chuckled.
Yoochun stopped the car and parked along the designed area by the sidewalk. Junsu glanced around and frowned when he recognized the place.
“We’re by the Han River,” Junsu stated.
“Yes we are,” Yoochun said.
“What are we doing here?” Junsu questioned.
Yoochun got out of the driver’s seat and motioned Junsu to get out as well.
“It’s nice, don’t you think?” Yoochun asked, holding his hand out for Junsu to take.
Junsu took his hand and entwined their fingers together, their rings almost tinkling against each other. Junsu glanced up at the sky and saw the sky was clear and starry.
“Yeah it is nice,” Junsu smiled upwards and took a deep breathe of the cool breeze. Yoochun could not help but feel himself falling further and he’s not complaining about it.
Yoochun glanced at his watch and saw that it was two minutes before midnight. He pulled Junsu gently along with him and they made their way down the path and Yoochun stopped at a certain spot. He was thankful that there were no other people around, which made it more private and special for them.
“How come there are no-” Junsu was suddenly interrupted by a sound. He almost panicked but when he saw the sky, he was speechless. Yoochun smiled and wrapped his arm around Junsu’s waist and Junsu leaned against his chest. They watched the firework display and Junsu couldn’t tear his eyes away. Junsu noticed that the shapes were uniquely different from other firework displays he had seen before. There were hearts and so many more hearts that were designed in a creative way. Junsu felt overwhelmed and could feel his heart beating rhythmically fast. Once it was over, he turned to face Yoochun, who was looking at him with tenderness.
“Chunnie…”
“You like it?”
Junsu nodded his head.
“Happy 100th Day Su,” Yoochun greeted. Junsu’s eyes widened with surprise because he had almost forgot about it. When Yoochun told him on the phone last week that he won’t be able to be back on time, Junsu felt disappointed and did his best to forget about it.
“I almost forgot! I’m sorry! I didn’t get anything for you,” Junsu said apologetically, bowing his head down. He felt so bad that he had done nothing and Yoochun did so much for him.
“Su, it’s okay and you don’t have to give me anything. This is already perfect for me. Having you in my life is the greatest thing that ever happened to me. Do you know why we are here?” Yoochun placed his fingers on Junsu’s chin and Junsu looked up at him. He shook his head, “why?” Junsu asked.
“Because this is where I fell in love with you. Sure I had a crush on you before that but this is where everything started. This is where I realized that you are the only one I ever wanted to have in my life. I know we haven’t been together for years but it felt like I have known you for years. You became my better half, my everything and I don’t ever want to lose you. You have no idea how much you meant to me and I’m really sorry for hurting you back then. I’m sorry for making you cry and I hope I was able to make those up,” Yoochun confessed and took a deep breath and let the air out. “I love you Junsu, I really love you so much and it scares me sometimes whenever I think what if I lose you and I don’t think I can handle-”
Yoochun was cut off when a pair of lips met his own lips. He melted and closed his eyes, wrapping his arms around Junsu’s waist and pulled him closer to his chest. It felt like time stopped between the two of them. Like the world was all theirs, oblivious to their surroundings.
“I love you too Yoochun,” Junsu whispered as he pulled back, with tears in his eyes. He was happy and overwhelmed and he could not hold back his emotions. He has been longing to hear those words from Yoochun for a long time now and to hear it for the first time made him feel a lot more secured with their relationship.
Yoochun felt a pang in his heart when he saw Junsu in tears, he wiped them away with his thumbs, “I’m sorry…”
Junsu shook his head, “no. I’m just happy. To finally hear those from you…I’m just so happy,” tears continued to trail down on his face and he wrapped his arms around Yoochun’s neck. Yoochun smiled and pulled him close and embraced him tightly.
“I’m sorry it took me a while to say those words. Never doubt me love, you are the only one who is important to me. If you think I’m checking out other girls or boys, it only means I’m thinking something about you. Plus I already kind of told you before...wabshu,” Yoochun whispered as he kept Junsu close.
“Cheesy,” Yoochun heard Junsu say and he could not help but chuckle.
“Yeah, cheesy for my idiot because my idiot makes me turn into an idiot in love as well,” Yoochun chuckled.
“Hey! I am idiot and you are dolt. Don’t steal my name,” Junsu pulled away and laughed.
“Awww….Yunnie! I’m so envious!” Yoochun and Junsu turned their heads around and saw that they have company. Yunho, Jaejoong and Changmin were standing not so far away from them. Jaejoong was leaning against Yunho with a camera in hand, feeling giddy and happy at their affection.
“Wha-how long have you been standing there?” Yoochun asked while feeling embarrassed.
“Hmmm….when Junsu asked why,” Changmin grinned.
Yoochun could feel his cheeks getting warm and he attempted to hide them even though it was dark and Junsu chuckled at his behavior.
“Yunnie, will you do something like this for me too?” Jaejoong asked childishly at Yunho.
Yunho shook his head, “I’ll do something better than this, you will see,” Yunho grinned and Jaejoong squealed in delight.
“Now you owe me, I’m starving!” Changmin interrupted, patting his slim stomach.
Junsu raised his brows and gave Yoochun a questioning look.
“I asked for their help. Changmin knows someone who works in a firework company and Yunho and Jaejoong came up with the designs. So in return, I just have to feed Changmin and the other two…I actually have no idea,” Yoochun frowned at the two.
Yunho waved his hand in the air, “let’s just say, when I need a favor, be ready to help me anytime, anywhere,” Yunho said.
Yoochun nodded his head, “alright,” he said and sighed, turning his attention back to Junsu.
“So…”
Junsu chuckled and took a step closer and pressed his lips against Yoochun’s and kissed him senselessly.
“Urg I don’t need to see this. Dealing with Yunjae earlier was enough but to see Yoosu and Yunjae together is just too much! I’m hungry!” Changmin turned around and started to walk away.
Junsu and Yoochun pulled away and shared laughter with Yunho and Jaejoong as they watched Changmin’s back.
“Let’s go guys! I’ve got a glutton to feed and we might as well celebrate, what do you say?” Yoochun looked at everyone.
“Why not?” Jaejoong smiled as he gazed lovingly at Yunho, who nodded in agreement.
“I’m kind of hungry too,” Junsu added and suddenly his stomach growled. Junsu smiled sheepishly at him.
“Idiot,” Yoochun chuckled and held Junsu’s hand. “Let’s go! Changmin! Wait for us! We’re supposed to be together! Changmin wait up!” Yoochun yelled as they raced after the youngest.
‘No matter what…your love is all that matters to me.’

The End.
Finale.
No More.
Period.
*cries*
But heck, it was so cheesy I'm gonna die! I tried imagining Yoochun telling those to me and I swear, I'm gonna die (a girl can dream right?).
For those who didn't notice, Yoochun brought Junsu to Han River, exactly the same place where they went to watch the firework display in 'His Eyes' from the 1st series.
Let me know what you think of this ending, as usual!
This is the end of the series and I have to say, it was really fun and challenging when I was writing the stories. I would like to thank everyone for taking their time to read the series and I really appreciated it.
Hope I didn't disappoint you with the ending, in case if you were expecting something else.
Once again, thank you very much! *bows*
