I never post here, but I thought I'd make a special post in response to and in addition to Kirsten's series on her visit to Portland.

yay! I just want to clarify that I would trade cameras with you in a heartbeat! I was only disappointed that it didn't magically take the perfect pictures for me. Since my skill level is 'intermediate point and shoot,' the pictures I could take were only slightly better than 'intermediate point and shoot.' If I got one, I'd actually have to learn how to use the silly thing.

Sorry the Tygers and Byars made you so upset - I thought it was a blast! but then again, I was a tourist, so I didn't have much invested.

Also, we've been listening to the Taxpayers in the car since we got home - thanks for the CD!

Excellent. Now that I've artfully written my feelings about the incident here, I'm far less angry about it. And I'm super glad you're listening to the taxpayers. Good stuff, if I do say so myself. And I do, because I had nothing to do with the writing, arranging or performing of the music.
