I haven't seen this episode in a while, so I don't recall which scene I like best. I'm really not a fan of this episode, as I think that the story is quite weak. I don't think that werewolves are depicted very well in this episode. I think that the episode of Charmed 'The Wendigo' is a much better portrayal. The CGI is also really bad in 'Once in a blue moon', which is why it makes me go, 'wahhhhhhh!'

In regards to 'fan activities' I take part in to do with Charmed, I collect Charmed memorabilia, e.g. posters, magazines, keyrings, etc. I don't particularly enjoy reading fan-fiction, though some can be quite interesting.

I agree with the previous comment that the special effects in this episode vs. the Wendigo episode are lacking. Costume and make-up seemed to work better than the CG animation. However, I did find it interesting that, in a later season, the "werewolf" role becomes empowering rather than debilitating and simplistic. In "the Wendigo" the monster is basically an "ice queen" figure that seduces and kills men due to emotional trauma (chick just can't get over that broken heart). In this episode, the Charmed ones become werewolves in accordance with the Blue moon (interesting since the moon and its cycles are naturally linked to both werewolves and women), they are unbiasedly violent towards all white lighters (men and women), but most interestingly, they are not "punished" at the end. The Wendigo is destroyed but the Charmed werewolves are seen as a dangerous but natural phenomenon that is allowed to run its course with little repercussions. Significance of this? Not sure yet!
