Well, the corporate setting's not conducive to the writing life-choice, either. I thought I'll be inspired to come up with better grounded stories, more "realist" mode of story telling, if I throw myself straight at the gaping mouth of corpowhoredom, but the truth is, it was a totally different (well, in keeping with the star trek analogy) star cluster all together.

I guess what writers should do is go old school and find wealthy matrons/patrons to enchant, and thereby find a life-supporting fount of financial stability. It's the only way. Hahahaha...

So sana merong professional wanted ads sa likod ng literary magazines: "Single brown female writer looking for f/m 25-40, well-preserved, economically stable and willing to serve as muse and sponsor. Will dedicate first collection of poems/stories/novel in exchange for comfortable living and creating conditions. Sexual favors negotiable."
