Yes she does look very pretty but she would look even better if she was slimmer. Does this reflect the state of the UK when even the beauty queens are now fat.

I had to laugh. That's just so Daily Mail. Anything out of the ordinary is a reflection of STATE OF BRITAIN TODAY ZOMG!!!111

Hollleeeee shit. I wish I could link to your post because it's so well expressed, but I might just end up linking to the "nutritionist"'s article. Not only do I not agree with her, but a lot of the things she's saying are just, er...WRONG. 20% at 5'10"...she'd be a stick.

YES. I understood this on an intellectual level when I read "The Beauty Myth," but I was living the truth of it so much that I couldn't really objectively see it, you know? And I'm still a cog in the misogynistic beauty machine, but I'm more aware now. Hence why I am more pissed.
