Well, I've been lurking around here long enough. This is the second thing I've posted for public consumption, as it were, and is unbetaed, so conc. crit is very, very welcome (as are suggestions if where to cross-post, or indeed if it's worth cross-posting). It's not yet got a title because I'm rubbish like that.

This is beautiful. And I'm sorry, it wasn't until loneraven complained that it didn't seem to be gathering much attention that I realised that I, um, hadn't said anything. Because I am bad that way. So, this is my bumbling, blathering appreciation (I do apologise, but it is 1am, not the best time for me to be on LJ...), because it's beautiful; simple, and elegant, and nice to see a story dealing with what happens to companions when they can no longer be companions. :)

Thank you! I have to admit that I am not elegant, and in the process of my bouncing around I actually managed to hit my head on the door. Glad you liked it though :)
