I have finished by Christmas shopping and cards, I have finished the first draft of my Yuletide fic, I am nearly finished my piercefic  entry; generally I have ticked off everything on my epic list of things to do.

YES. MY COOKIES ARE TAKING OVER THE WORLD. (Just in case anyone is curious, the recipe is here so you can help me in my quest for world domination by chocolate cookie share the love.)

True story: I took a batch to Russian class once, and my teacher swore I was getting an automatic A. (He was joking. Probably.) So taking them to work is definitely a good idea.

Do you work at a coffee shop, or just some sort of office where lots of coffee floats around?

And yay for ficliness! I need to work on mine. Oh Yuletide fic, what is your title? There will be (fandom appropriate suffering redacted) otherwise.

The cookies are magic. Most of my colleagues are just caffeine powered - me included - and I use the baking as a means of making friends and influencing people. Also for refuelling when I stay late/am called in/have been working in the cold/stressed/all of the above.

I haven't thought of a title! Finishing touches tonight.

if you watch Hellboy just after an episode of Merlin, the excess of John Hurt voice-overs is quite disorientating.

True story: whenever I read Hellboy/BPRD, John Hurt totally does the backstories' VO in my head. I can't help it anymore.

Things sort of bleed into one another, don't they? Or they do in my head.
