Last night I saw "About A Boy" for the first time, which meant I got to see the actress they booked as Tonks. She's frickin perfect. Absolutely, amazingly perfect. I'm extremely excited about seeing her performance now.

I LOVE About a Boy. When that little kid gets up in front of his school and starts singing "Killing Me Softly" I have to cover my eyes. What a precious little freak! It's probably my favorite Hugh Grant movie ever--wait, I can't be disloyal to Bridget Jones like that. It's one of my favorite Hugh Grant movies. The book is fabu, too.

Do you remember that cool older girl that the boy, Malcom, makes friend with? Ellie? She's got dreads and he kind of wants her as his girlfriend, which prompts that cute conversation between him and Hugh Grant about what it means to have a girlfriend. Can you picture her?

And I'm totally in love with this movie now. I'm definitely adding it to my must-buy list. My #1 on that list at the moment is Life Is Beautiful. My last copy was stolen when we were robbed 4 years ago and I haven't seen it since. Grrr...

I loved that movie! I'm totally pestering Josh now to buy it for me. Oh!! He bought me "Life Is Beautiful" for Valentine's! So we need to totally set up a time to make Dionne watch it with us.
