NY events

Many of my writing friends are heading off to the Hudson Book Festival. While I'm excited for them, and wish I could go, I'm sad for me. I sent an application to attend, and never heard from the organizers. I guess I should take the blame for not following up more, but I didn't want to be a stalker. Have TONS of fun, everyone

When we went to Disney, I felt like the one park (the animal one I can't remember the name) was not as good as the Bronx Zoo.

Actually, I get what many moms want for Mother's Day (at least this one) - a day off. The boys have LAX games & hubby coaches, so they can't come.

You're trying to say Animal Kingdom. lol I've never been to the Bronx Zoo, so I'm excited to see some of it at least.

yes! Animal Kingdom. I thought it was a lame version of the Bronx Zoo.

Enjoy that day off.... but it sounds like you are working... I vote you get another day off to sleep, or just hang out in some QUIET!!

Yes, I'm sure the organizers just lost your info. :( It's a huge event. I got knocked off the mailing list and didn't know it for a while. So things happen. I hope you try for next year!

Oh Jo! You should get to the Bronx Zoo sometime. I was just telling Val, it is soooo much better than Animal Kingdom in Disney... I think Disney tried to be as good as the Bronx Zoo, but no dice.
