Gintama harem comedy style - an AMV

It's loosely based on the first opening of of To Love-Ru. Loosely because it takes the song and the general theme of harem comedy but doesn't follow the original verbatim. Which makes it actually better because the original is just about fanservice and nothing more.

As for the original ToLove-Ru, I watched the first season (kinda) and just gave up afterwards. e_e

I haven't watched To Love Ru, actually xD I found this completely by accident.

Was the first series at least somewhat funny? Or is it just fanservice and nothing else?

Ouch. I actually even like some fanservice, but when a story is based solely on that... ugh.

I wonder if the manga's like that? 18 (or something like that) volumes of fanservice? That would be pretty ridiculous... though not impossible, unfortunately.

I've never watched the actual To-Love Ru, but the Gintama AMV was hilarious XD If harem animes were like that, I might watch them XD

Haven't watched To-Love Ru either xD I came across this vid completely by accident.

I'd watch the hell out of a Gintama-like harem anime xD The best point of it would be a protagonist that's not sickeningly bland like the typical ones, that are so for the viewer to project themselves onto them.
