Leo breaks the surface of the lake with a great heave of water. He lets out a bit of a laugh to himself and pushes his hair out of his eyes

Leo kicks the bottom of Jack's sword baring hand with the ball of his foot, and uses the momentum to flip himself over into a backhand spring. He grabs up both his swords, and is already flipping back toward Jack, one sword in defensive posture, the other in parry.
Jack growls an oath, snatches his sword up from the inlet beach, and waits for the opportune moment.
As Leo flips upright once more, Jack lets him have a hard fistful of sand in the face, and then bolts for the bar a second time while the other man's blinded.
As Jack wanders along the edge of the lake toward the Caribbean inlet, he's distracted and muttering to himself.
"Funeral, he says. I'll give him a funeral."
Beat.
"Another one, even."

Jack nods.
"Well, then. If that's the way of things."
And then he's off and running, having bolted in the direction of the bar.

Did the pirate forget the whole ninja thing? Jack, meet Leo's foot.

He manages to turn his sprawling fall into something of a roll, and comes up on his feet--
--tzing--
--with his sword in hand and pointed at Leonardo.
"That'll be quite enough of that. Keep your distance, mate, I'm warning you."
Black eyes are glittering with near-feral wildness.

Leo wipes the sand from his eyes, and that gives Jack the precious few seconds to escape back toward the bar.
"Pirates."
And gives a running leap.
