That's great and all, but it's also naive. If that man is let out of prison in 21 years and kills again, the blood will also be on the hands of their judicial system. The greater good of society needs to come first.

But he won't actually be let out in 21 years. He probably won't ever be let out. Unlike the US judicial system, Norway can indefinitely detain a prisoner after their sentence is up if they still pose a threat.

I'm glad to hear that. Prison rehabilitations happen but that's in God's hands.
