Gin -

If one letter makes it through everyone, I'm going to pay you actual money because that's never going to happen. Good effort though. Just so you know, I resent being last on that list. It's not even alphabetical! You can't pick bloody favorites, you know.

I'm fine. I wandered London with Draco Malfoy for something like 8 hours. No big deal. No one died, somehow. So everyone won there. Except me.

What do you mean the bloody house feel down!? How slow is it going back up? Do you need help with it?

Ginny grabbed hold of Pig as he bounced around the new, partially constructed kitchen. As she opened the letter, Molly went straight to caring for the bird.

As she read, she rolled her eyes (certainly her brothers could manage to read a letter and pass it along without too much trouble. They were adults, for Merlin's sake), and then had to re-read the bit about Draco Malfoy a few times to make sure she got that right.

Once Pig was fit for travel again, Ginny attached her response.

Ron,

It's in AGE order, twit. You know you're my favorite just kidding. You know it's George.

Well, magic stopped, didn't it? Did you think the house was being held up by wishes?

It's going kind of slow, another hand wouldn't be turned away. It is your childhood home and where your parents live, after all.

Cheers,
Gin

When he received her reply, Ron rolled his eyes. Age order was complete nonsense as far as he was concerned. If it was because it always put him at the end - except for Ginny - he would never admit to it.

He would, however, be guilted into going home to help with rebuilding or whatever it was they needed to call it. He had a feeling he'd be the only one since everyone was so spread out and if the Burrow collapsed, Ron didn't even want to know about the state of the twins' shop.

He grabbed his wand, finally comfortable again now that it was in his hand and working, and apparated to as close to the Burrow as he thought the wards would let him.

Turned out, the wards weren't even back up just yet and it didn't matter.

He stopped to stare at the slowly reforming mess.

"Bloody hell."

The Burrow was certainly a strange sight. Her parents had sorted through most of the wreck, placing different parts of the house and furniture in different piles in the yard. The bottom floor was still standing, for the most part, and the kitchen was looking rather bigger than usual ( ... )
