I'm making chocolate chunk cookies (No, I did NOT use chocolate chips--the only thing I'm using from the Nestle's bag is the recipe, thankyouverymuch! (I had a stash of El Ray in the closet.)

Unfortunately, I only noticed I had set the oven temperature to 425 degrees instead of 375 after the first batch--the ones without the toasted pecans.

I concur. That which contains chocolate should not contain nuts. The nuts displace space that could be otherwise filled with chocolate.
